Hi Florian,
the next ObsPy version will be able to convert the other way around, but we currently have no plans to go from StationXML to RESP files as this is a feature that is probably only useful in very specific cases. But contributions are of course very welcome

You could use IRIS' stationxml converter to convert StationXML to
Dataless SEED if you still need this. Dataless SEED can be converted to
RESP with obspy.
