I would like to ask you what your favourite platforms for manual phase picking based on obspy are.

Dear Laura,

For waveform inspection and phase picking would recommend the ‘snuffler’, which is part of the pyrocko project http://pyrocko.org

And, if you want, you can easily translate from pyrocko objects to obspy.
