Started using obspy-scan for data-availability and all works well.
Q1: How to specify start & end date/time when scanning a station waveform?
Q2: Is it ideal to use obspy-scan to check station uptime?(does data-availability = station uptime)?
$ obspy-scan --help
Not sure what the question is, to be honest. If there is no data in your archive for a given time, I guess it would either mean a) the station is “not up” as you say or b) there was a transmission problem to your local archive? But really not sure what you mean exactly here
