Modifying Instrument Sensitivity in stationXML

Hello,

I would like to modify the InstrumentSensitivity value without using the response.recalculate_overall_sensitivity() method.

From what I understand, this value should be a combination of all gains (sensor, ADC), but the result I am getting seems different.
For example, I have a geophone of 89.4 V/m/S and data that has already been corrected from the ADC part. I just need to add a gain of 1000 (mV->V).

The sensitivity of the instrument should be 89400. However, it is slightly different.

Can you help me with this?

could you post the full response? e.g. cha.response.response_stages

I will guess the stated normalization frequency may not be in an area where the amplitude response is perfectly flat

The overall sensitivity depends on the frequency it is measured at, but hard to say without the data.
