Dear ObsPy users,
I just learned that GFZ added proxies in front of their ArcLink nodes
(webdc:18001, webdc:18002) which resulted into timeout errors when
requesting data via obspy.arclink. These issues have been fixed in the
latest developer version of obspy.arclink
(http://obspy.org/changeset/2835/obspy). As usual use "easy_install
obspy.arclink==dev" to update the current version. Additionally I'll
release a new version of obspy.arclink on PyPI
(http://pypi.python.org/pypi) within the next two days.
