Happy New Year to the Obspy users!

Now IRIS moved/changed their data handling, this stuff does not work:

http://docs.obspy.org/packages/obspy.iris.html

because the IRIS system changed:

http://www.iris.edu/ws/

I am using obspy 0.8.4. Is this a matter of updating weblinks in future releases, or should I use a different way altogether to download iris data from now on?
