FDSN Mass downloader

Hello,

Is there any option (or additional solution) to only download station xml files and not to retrieve waveform data files in obspy.clients.fdsn.mass_downloader?

Hi Steve,

currently not within the mass downloader and also no ready to use solution.

If you are interesting in adding this to ObsPy, please open an issue on
ObsPy to discuss this. It is not extremely trivial to implement as the
mass downloader is heavily based on the notation of creating complete
data set with consistent waveform and station data but it is doable.
