Dear ObsPy Users,

today we released 1.5.1, the first (and according to plan only) bugfix release in the 1.5.x release cycle.

The release is up on [pypi](https://pypi.org/project/obspy/) and (soon) on [Anaconda/conda-forge](https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/obspy), so it can be updated as usual, using e.g `pip` or `conda`.

The list of fixes can be found in the [changelog](https://github.com/obspy/obspy/releases/tag/1.5.1).

Please refer to installation instructions for details: [Home · obspy/obspy Wiki · GitHub](https://github.com/obspy/obspy/wiki#installation)

Thanks to everybody who committed directly to the repository during the time since last release and everybody else who helped in any other manner!

All the best and let us know if you experience any problems,

The ObsPy Development Team
