# 1D seismic velocity

Dear All

Anybody knows a pure python code for calculating 1D seismic velocity  
model using earthquake travel times? Something like VELEST does. If  
not, i'm so interested in to write a code (or maybe package) based on  
Obspy. If anyone likes to do that, let's start ;).
